The partners of Groupe Symphorien purchased a house and a winery in late 2024. We took ownership of the house in January 2025. During our visits to the house in the buying process we knew there would need to be some renovations. After taking possession of the house, we discovered more renovations would be necessary. This blog captures some of the contemporaneous events along the way. Scott, Linda, and Eric stayed at the maison in July 2025 and began the process of furnishing the house.

Day 1, July 10th
This is a short video as we approached the house for the first time since renovations began this winter. As we kind of expected, the renovations were not completed before we came. I stopped recording when my husband started talking with the plumbers. Then I began recording again before the furniture was delivered. I will try to add both videos to this page for your viewing pleasure.
